This year 85 cadets of the marine educational institutions will practice on board of the Primorsk Shipping Company’s ships (group of companies PRISCO). From April to October future navigators, marine mechanics and electromechanics of the Maritime University by G.I. Nevelskogo, Volga Academy of Water Transport, Far East and Sakhalin Island Naval College will be accumulating professional experience and a swimming requirement for tankers and dry cargo vessels of the Company.

“This year we take only students with no academic arrears”, said Personnel Manager Primorsk Shipping Company Victor Veremeenko.  We believe that probation is more effective when the trainee comes with a complete theoretical training. This allows him to learn and use their knowledge in work rather than make up for what they have learned on shore.

All costs of organizing practices and the displacement of the Cadets will be under Primorsk Shipping Corporation. In addition, each PRISCO’s trainees during their stay on the ship will receive a scholarship payment.

Within two to eight months after become familiar with the specifics of the work, depending on the schedule of training, trainees to be under the patronage of experienced sailors. Particular attention by the senior sailors will be paid to cadets, who are new in their sea live. The Company will close look at the cadets graduate courses to encourage them to return as already young professionals.
