5 million tons of Sakhalin crude oil its more than half of the cargo transported by tankers of the Primorsk Shipping Company (Group PRISCO) for the first six months of year 2010. Total amount to transport is 8774000 tons its up to 16% over the same period last year.
Crude oil produced on the Sakhalin shelf transported to ports in Japan and South Korea by five tankers with a deadweight of 100 to 108 thousand tons, as “Pavel Cherynsh”, “Captain Kostichev”, “Zaliv Aniva”, “Sakhalin Island” and “Gavernor Farkhutdinov”. All of them work in the long-term time charter for the projects “Sakhalin-1” and “Sakhalin-2” and operate by companies “ENL” and “Sakhalin Energy”.
Bulk transport is a new developed direction for the company. Two dry-cargo vessels "Prisco Abakan" and "Prisco Udokan, built in Korea during last year transported to buyers around 255,000 tons of coal and ore. |
